Developmental Language Disorder: Assessment and Treatment in Clinical Practice

What is this course?

Around 7% of children and young people have a developmental language disorder (DLD). There is a strong and expanding evidence base considering assessment and intervention approaches. This course considers how this evidence can be translated into daily practice to support the differential diagnosis of DLD through assessment. The course then considers target setting and the selection of the most appropriate treatment approaches to support children and young people in achieving functional outcomes in their everyday lives.
