Learning Language and Loving It™

What is this course?

Intensive 3-day workshop teaching evidence-based approach for training educators to promote the social, language, and literacy development of young children.

Who is this course for?

This workshop is for qualified speech-language pathologists/therapists and early childhood education professionals who train, coach or consult to other educators.

Certification value

The Learning Language and Loving It™ workshop certifies you to offer the evidence-based Learning Language and Loving It Program to early childhood educators and preschool teachers.

It Takes Two to Talk®

What is this course?

This 3-day workshop provides a simple but powerful framework for coaching parents to play a primary role in their child’s intervention – a framework that can be applied to a variety of clinical contexts, including individual therapy and group training.

Who is this course for?

This workshop is for qualified speech-language pathologists/therapists.

Certification value

The It Takes Two to Talk® workshop certifies you to lead It Takes Two to Talk — The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Language Delays to parents of children ages 5 and under.

More than Words®

What is this course?

The More Than Words® 3-day workshop offers speech-language pathologists a goal-based approach to family-centred early language intervention for children with autism.

Who is this course for?

This workshop is for qualified speech-language pathologists/therapists.

Certification value

The More Than Words® workshop certifies you to offer the evidence-based More Than Words® Program to parents of young children who have both communication and interaction impairments. This includes children with suspected or diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as children with social communication impairments.

SPARK Communication™

What is this course?

The SPARK Communication™ 2-day workshop is most valuable to those working within multi-disciplinary, trans-disciplinary and Key Worker models to support young children with language and/ or developmental delays.

Who is this course for?

This workshop is for professionals (non SLPs) who work with young children with language delays and their families.

Certification value

The SPARK Communication Workshop™ certificates you to coach parents to apply research-based responsive interaction strategies drawn from Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk® guidebook and program. You will support parents and carers to apply these strategies during everyday interactions with their child to make language learning a natural, ongoing process for the child.

Hanen 4 “I”s to Socialize™ 2-day workshop is designed to facilitate and enhance your efforts to involve families and to achieve the best possible outcomes for young children with social communication challenges.

Who is this course for?

Hanen 4 “I”s to Socialize™ is for any professional who supports young children with autism or social communication difficulties and their families.

Certification value

The 4 “I”s to Socialize™ workshop certifies you to coach parents to apply research-based responsive interaction strategies drawn from Hanen’s More Than Words® program.
