Makaton For Early Years Settings
About this course
This specialist workshop is designed to equip people working in Early Years settings with skills to apply Makaton to support children’s language and communication. Participants receive a manual jam-packed with information, including the signs and symbols for the 82 concepts taught during the course. Hit the ground running by booking and attending a vibrant and interactive three-and-a-half-hour session with a specialist Makaton Tutor!
Your course can be arranged ‘in-person’ at your venue (max 15 people per group), or online (max 12 people per session).

- Use signing and symbols in daily routines and activities
- Support children’s understanding and ability to make choices
