About this course

Join a small, tutorial-style group for a clear research summary on Developing Vocabulary and Supporting Word Finding. This half-day session has a practical focus and also explores the link between semantics and pragmatics in the Early Years and Key Stage 1.

Dr Wendy Rinaldi will explain the research and thinking behind the new edition of her programme, The Words Store:

You will learn practical ways to build children’s vocabulary and support word-finding, both when children are starting to use language and when they have more to say.

Please note

There are only eight places available for this informal group. They will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and include taster material from The Words Store. This will be a combination of electronic and printable material. Participants can choose a noun, verb or attribute resource set, according to preference.
