How to Support Children’s Language in the Early Years
About this course
You will develop critical appraisal skills to interpret research evidence. This is a crucial skill when resources are increasingly tight, and you must be confident that the interventions you choose will likely work.
This course is relevant to people working to support children’s language in the early years, including those who are looking to:
- Work in partnership with families and settings to embed best practice approaches for early language development
- Review the up-to-date evidence base for intervention and support; especially when time constraints make it impossible to read all the relevant articles and papers yourself
- Reflect on their own practice and raise their awareness of initiatives and approaches used by other practitioners attending the course
Additional Information
This course is for practitioners who provide support at the whole setting level. If you want to learn about clinical decision-making specific to supporting individual children, check out Applying Best Practice in the Early Years, for Clinic-Based and Independent Practitioners course.
