Using Makaton with Singing Workshop
About this course
Makaton with Singing is a half-day workshop with four practical sessions. You will learn up to 100 signs and have fun practising them in songs adapted for different ability levels. The workshop is designed for people without prior knowledge or experience of using Makaton.
Research has shown that singing and signing are beneficial for enhancing vocalisation, confidence, social skills, emotional development and wellbeing.

Using Makaton With Singing Participant Manual
This resource is essential for this training
The Participant Manual is an soft back spiral bound book that is posted to you in an A4 padded envelope. In addition to the line drawings of the signs, and all of the symbols you are taught on the course, the manual contains practice exercises, notes to complement the information sessions included on the course, and lots of ideas about ways you can maintain and develop your Makaton skills.
