Dr Jill Titterington has over 20 years of clinical experience (mostly as a specialist for children with hearinɡ impairment). She also has over 16 years of academic experience as a lecturer in Ulster University’s Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) department. Jill became an independent Consultant Speech and Language Therapist/Researcher in September 2023. Dr Jill Titterington was appointed as an Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Language & Communication Disorders in November 2023. Jill is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her design, delivery and assessment of teaching and learning have mostly focused on delivering teaching and learning on phonetic transcription, hearing impairment and clinical management of speech sound disorders in children. She is currently a member of the UK and Ireland’s Child Speech Disorder Research Network and the Clinical Phonetics Teaching Network.
